What's fibre to the premises?

Fibre to the premises (FTTP) is a pure fibre connection - all the way from the exchange into your home or business.  It offers speeds of up to 1Gbps. Our FTTP network is already the UK's largest, covering more than 900,000 premises. But we're not stopping there. We plan to reach three million homes and businesses by the end of 2020.

Can I get FTTP?

Use our fibre checker to see if you're in an FTTP area - you just need to tell us your phone number or postcode. If you are, get in touch with any of the communications providers shown on the buy it now page to find a deal that's right for you.

Could FTTP work for my home or business?

If you're interested in having FTTP broadband at your home or business fill in this form. We’ll use your address to check if there's enough potential demand in your area. If there is we may get in touch to talk to you about getting it to you.

What’s the difference between FTTP and FTTP on Demand?

FTTP on Demand is when a fibre connection to your home or business is built to order at a cost to yourself. You’ll need to confirm whether FTTP on Demand is available in your area and also understand the cost to you. You can do this with any of the communications providers shown on our buy it now page.
